The Trees of Light Ceremony is a way to remember and honour our loved ones during the Holiday Season. The lighting of the Trees represents the love that still lives on in our hearts and memories – sometimes long after the death of our loved ones.
This year marks the 27th Annual Trees of Light Ceremony at Toronto City Hall. The Trees are kept on display for the entire month of December to January in the Toronto City Hall Rotunda for all to visit.
The lighting ceremony, includes musical performances, and is approximately 45 minutes long followed by a time of quiet reflection. After the ceremony, you are invited to stay and look for your loved one’s name(s) on the Trees.
Light refreshments will be served and dove-related merchandise, including doves, will be available for sale following the ceremony as well.
